July 20:
We have been having a nice summer. See

June 02:
We just got back from our 11 day family trip to Greece!!!
We spent 4 days in Athens, and 7 days at the island of
Milos. In
Athens we visited the Acropolis as well as other amazing sites
in the city. On Milos we stayed in
Pollonia, and
took day trips to other villages/beaches on the island (Adamas,
Plaka, Klima,
Plathiena, Paleohori, and
Provatas), we
also took a day trip to the neighboring island
Kimolos. We
had a great time, and really experienced true Greek culture,
people, food, and history without it being too
"touristy"...especially on Milos where there was only a handful
of tourists on the whole island, and we were the only people on
most of the beaches we visited. We took lots of pictures,

18:
We had a nice 17th of May yesterday, and it was extra special
due to the visit from Drew (Marits friend from Georgetown)! See
pictures from the
past few days. |

Scott had a meeting (and held a half day workshop) this week at
the
European Commission JRC
in Ispra, Italy. He stayed in a neat little village called
Ranco, which is right at the base of the Alps. See
pictures from his
trip, as well as from last weekend. |
